Anatomic Reconstruction of the Esophagogastric Junction

1988
Techniques of anatomic reconstruction can be used in an effort to restore or simulate the normal anatomy of the esophagogastric junction. These techniques include: hiatal plasties (of Allison, Sweet, Welch, Harrington-Madden); gastropexies (of Nissen, Boerema); antireflux procedures (of Lortat-Jacob, fundophrenicopexy of Kummerle).
