Causal Relationship Between Branched‐Chain Amino Acids and Hypertension: A Mendelian Randomization Study

open access: yesJournal of the American Heart Association: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease
Background This study aimed to investigate the causal relationships between branched‐chain amino acids (BCAAs) and the risks of hypertension via meta‐analysis and Mendelian randomization analysis.

Multimodal Lead-Specific Modeling of ECG for Low-Cost Pulmonary Hypertension Assessment [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is frequently underdiagnosed in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) primarily due to the scarcity of advanced diagnostic tools. Several studies in PH have applied machine learning to low-cost diagnostic tools like 12-lead ECG (12L-ECG), but they mainly focus on areas with limited resources, overlooking areas with no ...

Targeting Decidual CD16+ Immune Cells with Exosome‐Based Glucocorticoid Nanoparticles for Miscarriage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exosome‐based nanoparticles (GC‐Exo‐CD16Ab) are designed to deliver glucocorticoids (GC) specifically to decidual CD16+ NK cells and macrophages. This targeted delivery effectively suppresses the cytotoxicity of decidual NK cells, inhibits M1 macrophage polarization, and modulates the decidual microenvironment.

Diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension by Integrating Multimodal Data with a Hybrid Graph Convolutional and Transformer Network [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Early and accurate diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension (PH) is essential for optimal patient management. Differentiating between pre-capillary and post-capillary PH is critical for guiding treatment decisions. This study develops and validates a deep learning-based diagnostic model for PH, designed to classify patients as non-PH, pre-capillary PH, or ...

Bilirubin Targeting WNK1 to Alleviate NLRP3‐Mediated Neuroinflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
At physiological concentrations, bilirubin binds to the kinase domain of WNK1, thereby augmenting its activity and facilitating the phosphorylation of downstream SPAK/OSR1. This phosphorylation inhibits KCC2 activity, leading to elevate intracellular chloride levels in neurons.

Wearable Systems of Reconfigurable Microneedle Electrode Array for Subcutaneous Multiplexed Recording of Myoelectric and Electrochemical Signals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A reconfigurable microneedle electrode array integrated system is developed for minimally invasive and transdermal monitoring of subcutaneous electromyography, reactive oxygen species, and pH values. By assembling discrete thumbtack‐shaped microneedles into an array, the system enables multi‐parameter detection with single‐microneedle resolution.
