Essential Maps Exist From BU to coker J
Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1986The author shows that, from the solution of the Segal conjecture and its subsequent generalization by the author to compact Lie groups, there are no infinite loop maps from BU to Coker J. This was conjectured by I. Madsen, the reviewer and J. Tornehave. He also shows that [BU, Coker J], the homotopy classes of based maps, is far from zero.

Mapping essential oral healthcare for the Australian context
Australian Health ReviewAustralia’s universal healthcare scheme, Medicare, has largely excluded oral healthcare resulting in inequitable access to affordable, essential oral healthcare. To achieve inclusion of oral health within Australia’s universal healthcare scheme, it is necessary to identify and define the dental services that constitute essential oral healthcare.

Essential category weight and phantom maps
2001The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between maps with infinite essential category weight and phantom maps (there is a brief summary of the main results on essential category weight in the appendix to this paper). It is not hard to see that any map with E(f) = oo is a phantom map.
