COWVR/TEMPEST Multisensor Satellite-Based Surface State Parameter Retrievals
Accurate estimates of essential climate variables, including ocean surface specific humidity (qa) and air temperature (Ta), at the air–sea interface are critical in understanding many atmospheric and oceanic processes and impacts and can be used ...

Integrated Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis and Electrolysis for CO2 Capture and Conversion
This work demonstrates an integrated BMEED platform that couples CO2 capture and conversion within a single modular system. By combining BMED with CO2E, high‐purity CO is produced while avoiding intermediate stripping, excessive capital and O&M costs, and external gas feeds.

Beyond the Gold Standard: Towards Industrially Viable Electrodes for Durable Perovskite Solar Cells
Transparent and opaque electrode materials are mapped by raw material cost per 1 m2 electrode area and retained median device efficiency after heat–light ageing. FTO offers a lower‐cost and more stable alternative to ITO, while Cr/Al provides the lowest‐cost rear electrode investigated with Au‐like stability and substantially improved durability ...

Imagine if we had some key biology and ecosystem variables that are collected in the same way, and made openly available. Then we would be able to use this comparable data from around the world to advance our understanding of the ocean but also to create products that would be very useful in conservation.

This report provides an initial assessment of Ireland’s current measurement programmes and capacity for Essential Ocean Variables (EOV) data collection. These are typically programmes that involve physical sampling of the marine environment, using a combination of ship-based measurements, fixed platforms e.g.
