Single‐cell transcriptomics reveals the cellular response of Macrobrachium hainanense to carbonate alkalinity stress. Alkalinity stress impairs branchial ammonia excretion, induces mitochondrial dysfunction, and drives cell‐type‐specific changes in gills and hemocytes.

Morphological anisotropy directs the in vivo transport under physiological flow and clearance of silica nanocarriers. Increasing anisotropy reduces cellular uptake, suppresses hepatic and splenic sequestration, and prolongs systemic circulation by steering particles toward the central flow core.

Operationalising essential ocean variables through robust and trusted QCV Workflows
Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs) play a central role in global ocean observation frameworks. They support the monitoring of biogeochemical processes, ecosystem dynamics, and long-term environmental change. Among them, nitrate is a key biogeochemical EOV, closely linked to primary production and phytoplankton dynamics. And transforming raw observations

The Southern Ocean is central to global heat and carbon cycling, connecting all the major ocean basins and regulating Earth’s climate system, and hence providing ecosystem services of global significance. However, its ecosystems are increasingly vulnerable to climate change and localized human-induced pressures, such as (biological) resource extraction,

Oocytes play crucial roles in maintaining ovarian fate in adult gonochoristic fish. Targeted oocyte ablation with aromatase inhibition triggers the activation of surviving germline stem cells and the transdifferentiation of somatic cells from granoulosa/theca to Sertoli/Leydig lineages, inducing a complete and functional female‐to‐male sex reversal ...

Advancing Energy Efficiency in Smart Windows via Dual‐Responsive Electro‐Thermochromism
A durable and stable quasi‐solid‐state electro‐thermal dual‐responsive photothermal regulation device has been employed in advanced energy‐efficient smart windows. The devised device not only incorporates a thermochromic hydrogel characterized by high ionic conductivity, high optical transmittance, and a low LCST, but also comprises an electrochromic ...
