What is Essential Tremor? [PDF]
Classic essential tremor is a clinical syndrome of action tremor in the upper limbs (at least 95 % of patients) and less commonly the head, face/jaw, voice, tongue, trunk, and lower limbs, in the absence of other neurologic signs. However, the longstanding notion that essential tremor is a monosymptomatic tremor disorder is being challenged by a ...

Genetics‐Based Targeting Strategies for Precise Neuromodulation
In this Review, the fundamental principles and implementation protocols of genetics‐based precision neuromodulation are first introduced. Then, wireless and low‐invasive strategies based on nano‐transducing materials are highlighted, along with a dissection and analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of representative studies.

FfRlpA2, a conserved Fusarium effector, functions as a protease inhibitor by hijacking the E3 ubiquitin ligase IbCHYR1 to degrade the resistance factor IbZnFR, thereby promoting Fusarium pathogenicity. Conversely, the high dosage Pro::IbZnFRHap2 allele was associated with resistance to root rot disease.

Mechanical Forces Guide Axon Growth through the Nigrostriatal Pathway in an Organotypic Model
Nano‐pulling is a magnetic nanoparticle‐based technology for guiding and promoting the axon growth of induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived dopaminergic neurospheres in vitro or neural progenitors transplanted in the brain tissue. Fine control of axon guidance is essential for reconstructing neural networks and restoring functional connectivity in the ...

EVs and EV‐microRNAs (miRNAs) mediate PDAC‐skeletal muscle communication. miR‐223‐5p reduces METTL14 transcription by targeting MAFA, which subsequently decreases m6A methylation in skeletal muscles, ultimately leading to muscle wasting. This study highlights the absorption of miRNA in PDAC‐derived EVs by skeletal muscles and reveals a previously ...

Postural tremor and dystonia: clinical correlates and pathophysiological considerations [PDF]
The coexistence of tremor and dystonia is usually seen but there is not a satisfactory explanation for it. Some consider that essential tremor (ET) and idiopathic dystonia (ID) may be genetically linked.
