New Polymorphic EST-SSR Markers in Sugarcane
Sugar Tech, 2012New polymorphic SSR markers in sugarcane has potential usefulness to studies genetic diversity, genetic mapping, DNA fingerprinting and determination offspring as true hybrids, selfing or contaminant in germplasm from breeding program. SSR markers can be obtained in several ways, and the search for SSR-EST sequences an alternative with significant ...

EST-SSRs for Genetic Mapping in Alfalfa
2006Several genetic maps of alfalfa have been published, both at the diploid (Medicago sativa subsp. coerulea) and tetraploid (Medicago sativa L.) levels. These maps have been constructed primarily with RFLP and RAPD markers, and have not been integrated into a single, reference map.

Characterization of EST-SSRs in loblolly pine and spruce
Tree Genetics & Genomes, 2006In the first large study of conifer expressed sequence tag-simple sequence repeats (EST-SSRs), two large conifer EST databases were characterized for EST-SSRs. One database was from “interior spruce” (white and Engelmann spruce in Southern British Columbia) and Sitka spruce, while the other was from loblolly pine.

Characterization of EST–SSRs from Cryptomeria japonica
Conservation Genetics Resources, 2009Simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were developed for Cryptomeria japonica from 55,530 expressed sequence tags (ESTs). Of the 219 designed primer pairs, 176 showed clear PCR amplification products and 27 of these revealed polymorphisms in six individuals sampled at sites across Japan.

EST-SSR Markers fromHeteroderaglycinesIchinohe
Генетика, 2014The soybean cyst nematode Heterodera glycines Ichinohe is a severe agricultural pest for which genetic resources are limited. In this study, 295 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) were identified from 259 expressed sequenced tags (ESTs), Which were selected from 9,443 unigenes. The successful primer pairs were designed against six regions.

Development and analysis of EST-SSRs for flax (Linum usitatissimum L.)
Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 2009A set of 146,611 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) were generated from 10 flax cDNA libraries. After assembly, a total of 11,166 contigs and 11,896 singletons were mined for the presence of putative simple sequence repeats (SSRs) and yielded 806 (3.5%) non-redundant sequences which contained 851 putative SSRs. This is equivalent to one EST-SSR per 16.5 kb

Study of EST-SSR marker system of Cordyceps
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2011Objective To establish the EST-SSR marker system for Cordyceps by using ESTs of C. bassiana and C. militaris. Method The ESTs of Cordyceps were downloaded from the public database of NCBI, and the redundant ESTs with low quality were removed. The EST-SSR primers were designed by Sequece Seiner 1. 2.

Development of EST-SSR primers and their practicability test for Laminaria
Acta Oceanologica Sinica, 2011Laminaria (Saccharina) is one of the economic important seaweeds. Through sequence analysis of 4 099 ESTs from Laminaria (971 were generated from our own cDNA laboratories and 3 128 were downloaded from updated EST databases) with SSRIT software, two hundred and fifty-four SSRs in 206 ESTs were found.

[EST-SSR identification of Lonicera japonica Thunb].
Yao xue xue bao = Acta pharmaceutica Sinica, 2013Simple and effective methods are needed for the identification of Chinese medicinal material species and their variety. Lonicera japonica Thunb. is one of Chinese herbal medicines widely demanded. A total of 3 705 EST-SSRs of L. japonica and 2 818 EST-SSRs of L. japonica var. chinensis Thunb. were identified from EST database in our lab.

Development and Characterization of EST-SSR Markers in Taxodium ‘zhongshansa’
Plant Molecular Biology Reporter, 2015Taxodium ‘zhongshansa’, an extremely flood-tolerant tree species, has been widely planted in eastern China due to its environmental attributes. Although much progress has been made in understanding its physiological response to flooding stress, as well as its rapid propagation and variety selection, little is known regarding its molecular genetics due ...
