This paper describes the context of the surface site Amalia 4, regarding a particular data: a green obsidian projectile point that offers the opportunity to suggest a chronological framework, based on the technomorphological analysis. The chronological location of these contexts becomes a challenge for the study of regional archaeology.

Abstract Phacelia sect. Glandulosae, with ca. 62 taxa, is the most diverse of the 11 sections of the genus Phacelia (Hydrophyllaceae). The family is largely restricted to North and Central America, but the genus Phacelia has an amphitropical distribution with nine species reported from western South America, five of which have been assigned to P. sect.

Survey of flea infestation in cats and dogs in Western Andalusia, Spain: Seasonality and other risk factors for flea infestation

Medical and Veterinary Entomology, Volume 38, Issue 2, Page 244-251, June 2024.
This work supports the preference of the predominant flea species in pets for seasons with higher temperatures and lower percentages of rainfall. C. felis was the dominant flea species, whereas dogs exhibited a greater diversity of flea species. The number of female fleas was higher than males in all identified species and hosts.
