A PDF Estimation-Based Iterative MIMO Signal Detection With Unknown Interference [PDF]
The equivalent diversity order of iterative minimum mean squared error (MMSE) multiuser detectors for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channels is decreased if they aim at suppressing unknown cochannel interference (UCCI) while detecting multiple ...

WiFi based landmark estimation [PDF]
A quick primer on WiFI based landmark estimation shows two possible approaches exist: using range or bearing information. For both approaches this repository contains one option in simulation (MatLab and Gazebo), and real-world control based on a Nexus ...

Probability hypothesis density filtering for real-time traffic state estimation and prediction [PDF]
The probability hypothesis density (PHD) methodology is widely used by the research community for the purposes of multiple object tracking. This problem consists in the recursive state estimation of several targets by using the information coming from an

Navigation and estimation of separative labelling curves [PDF]
openIn questo lavoro si investiga la possibilità di un agente di navigare ed identificare una curva sconosciuta, lineare o non lineare, la quale divide due regioni dello spazio bidimensionale in cui i punti sono dotati di un'etichetta (e.g.

In this paper, a new machine learning solution for function approximation is presented. It combines many simple and relatively inaccurate estimators to achieve high accuracy. It creates - in incremental manner - hierarchical, tree-like structure, adapting it to the specific problem being solved.

Minimax boundary estimation and estimation with boundary
We derive non-asymptotic minimax bounds for the Hausdorff estimation of $d$-dimensional submanifolds $M \subset \mathbb{R}^D$ with (possibly) non-empty boundary $\partial M$. The model reunites and extends the most prevalent $\mathcal{C}^2$-type set estimation models: manifolds without boundary, and full-dimensional domains.

Amplitude estimation without phase estimation [PDF]
AbstractThis paper focuses on the quantum amplitude estimation algorithm, which is a core subroutine in quantum computation for various applications. The conventional approach for amplitude estimation is to use the phase estimation algorithm, which consists of many controlled amplification operations followed by a quantum Fourier transform.
