Effects of Intrauterine Isoproterenol Administration on Ovarian Follicular Development in Cows

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 1, January 2025.
Distilled water containing isoproterenol was administered intrauterine route on Day 1 or 2 post‐ovulation. A total of 40 mL was infused (20 mL per uterine horn). This treatment increased the pulsation rate in the arteria uterina media and arteria ovarica, leading to an elevated small antral follicle count (3–4.9 mm).
