The metabolism of estriol-3-glucosiduronate and estriol in the rabbit.
Urinary metabolites of [6,7-3H]-estriol-3-glucosiduronate and of [6, 7-3H]-estriol in intact female rabbits were analyzed. The separation of urinary metabolites was performed by countercurrent distribution followed by DEAE-Sephadex A-25 column chromatography.

Abstract The development of safe and effective radioprotective agents with minimal side effects, particularly for high‐dose exposure, remains a global priority. E0703, a novel steroidal compound structurally derived from estradiol, has shown promising radioprotective efficacy with limited estrogenic activity in prior pharmacodynamic studies.

Conversion of estriol to estrone: A bacterial strategy for the catabolism of estriol
Natural estrogens, including estrone (E1), 17β-estradiol (E2), and estriol (E3), are potentially carcinogenic pollutants commonly found in water and soil environments. Bacterial metabolic pathway of E2 has been studied; however, the catabolic products of E3 have not been discovered thus far. In this study, Novosphingobium sp.

ABSTRACT Growth differentiation factor 9 (GDF9) plays a key role in enhancing developmental competence and blastocyst yield during in vitro maturation (IVM). This study investigated whether GDF9 could counteract the harmful effects of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a gram‐negative bacterial component, on bovine in vitro embryo production, while also ...

Steroid Recognition in Adhesion GPCRs: A Structural and Pharmacological Perspective
ABSTRACT Emerging evidence suggests steroids may act as generalizable ligands for adhesion GPCRs, a receptor class with considerable pharmacological potential. While most studies have focused on the ADGR‘G' subfamily, recent cryo‐EM structures of the androgens 5α‐dihydrotestosterone (5α‐DHT) and methenolone bound to ADGRD1 revealed a putative steroid ...
