ESWL and arterial hypertension
Urologia Journal, 1992Two groups of patients with normal arterial pressure were studied; a retrospective group of 50, treated with Dornier HM3 at Salzburg Hospital and a prospective group of 23 treated with Lithostar Plus at Bolzano Hospital. It was concluded that therapy with ESWL did not bring about an increase in arterial pressure.

19881450 Patienten und ihre behandelnden Urologen wurden im Rahmen einer Fragebogenaktion uber den Verlauf nach Stoswellenlithotripsie um Informationen gebeten. Von 1003 Patienten, welche zwischen Juli 1984 und September 1985 behandelt wurden, konnten vollstandige Angaben erhoben werden.

Die offenen Nierensteinoperationen werden an unserer Klinik nur noch bei Kontraindikationen der ESWL bzw. der perkutanen Litholapaxie durchgefuhrt. Da viele Nierensteinpatienten direkt vom niedergelassenen Urologen in Zentren fur ESWL eingewiesen werden, ist die primare Zahl solcher Kranken an unserer Klinik deutlich zuruckgegangen.
