Conceptual design of heterogeneous azeotropic distillation process for ethanol dehydration using 1-butanol as entrainer [PDF]
The synthesis of a heterogeneous azeotropic distillation process for ethanol dehydration using 1-butanol as entrainer is presented. The residue curve map of the ethanol/water/1-butanol mixture is computationally generated using

Ethanol Dehydration to Ethylene in a Stratified Autothermal Millisecond Reactor [PDF]
AbstractThe concurrent decomposition and deoxygenation of ethanol was accomplished in a stratified reactor with 50–80 ms contact times. The stratified reactor comprised an upstream oxidation zone that contained Pt‐coated Al2O3 beads and a downstream dehydration zone consisting of H‐ZSM‐5 zeolite films deposited on Al2O3 monoliths.

Pelletisation of canola meal by extrusion–spheronisation for ethanol dehydration
Abstract Canola meal has been previously demonstrated to be an attractive biomaterial for dehydrating wet ethanol vapours in bioethanol manufacture. Extrusion–spheronisation was employed to prepare reasonably spherical pellets of canola meal for use in dehydration units.

Pervaporative Dehydration of Organic Solvents Using High-Silica CHA-Type Zeolite Membrane
A high-silica chabazite (CHA) type zeolite membrane was prepared on the porous α-Al2O3 support tube by the secondary growth of seed particles. The dehydration performances of the membrane were determined using methanol, ethanol, 2-propanol, acetone ...

Catalytic ethanol dehydration to ethylene in microreactor [PDF]
The aim of this thesis is to study production of ethylene by dehydration of ethanol. This reaction represents a green way of obtaining this alkene, since ethanol can be obtained from biomass.

Effect of cutting time and storage time on the nutritional value of stargrass hay
The objective of this study was to assess the effect of cutting time on the nutritional composition and dehydration rate of stargrass, as well as the nutritional value of the hay as a function of storage time. Two plant cutting times were analyzed: at 13:
