Delayed Argon Plasma Coagulation After Endoscopic Injection Sclerotherapy for Esophageal Varices Reduces Recurrence Risk

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 7, Issue 1, April 2027.
ABSTRACT Objectives Argon plasma coagulation (APC) is commonly used as consolidation therapy after endoscopic injection sclerotherapy (EIS) for esophageal varices (EVs); however, the optimal timing of APC remains unclear. This study evaluated the association between the EIS–APC interval and clinical outcomes.

Recent Development of Endo‐hepatology

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 7, Issue 1, April 2027.
ABSTRACT Endo‐hepatology is a rapidly evolving field encompassing endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary diseases, primarily using endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). Since its conceptualization in 2012, the field has expanded dramatically alongside advances in interventional EUS. A landmark 2024 review broadened the concept to include endoscopic

Ethanolamine iin impregnated wood [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017

Supported Bimetallic Pt/X Catalysts for the Hydrodeoxygenation of N‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)Succinimide

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 19, 14 October 2026.
A catalyst system comprised of Pt and Mo on TiO2 is used for the selective hydrodeoxygenation of N‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)succinimide to gain access to N‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐2‐pyrrolidone via nonfossil‐based routes with yields of up to 95%. Comprehensive catalyst characterization revealed strong adsorption as major deactivation pathway, as well as in situ ...
