Fructose‐Based Single‐Chain Polymer Nanoparticles for GLUT1–Mediated Delivery: Impact of Polymer Design on Uptake and In Vivo Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐chain nanoparticles have been proposed as drug delivery carriers, but adding a tail can significantly enhance their performance. This was demonstrated using a tadpole‐like structure comprising a head prepared from a UV‐crosslinked fructose‐based glycopolymer capable of targeting GLUT receptors, combined with a PEG‐based tail. Compared with other

ETHER: Energy- and cost-efficient framework for seamless connectivity over the integrated terrestrial and non-terrestrial 6G networks

open access: yes, 2023
Several use cases already proposed for 5G networks cannot be facilitated by terrestrial infrastructure, either due to its small penetration in remote/rural areas or the harsh propagation conditions due to the terrain.

Affinity‐Tuned Albumin Hitchhiking Extends the Bioorthogonal Capture Window in Pretargeting Radiotheranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

Einstein's Ether: F. Why did Einstein Come Back to the Ether?

open access: yes, 2001
this paper I demonstrate that Einstein's 1920 reasoning hardly differed from the one Poincar had presented prior to 1905. Thus, whil Einstein was a hero because he did away with the ether, this situation lasted a few years only.

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

Beyond Presumptions: Toward Mechanistic Clarity in Metal‐Free Carbon Catalysts for Electrochemical H2O2 Production via Data Science

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

Crystal structures of bis[2-(diphenylphosphinothioyl)phenyl] ether and bis{2-[diphenyl(selanylidene)phosphanyl]phenyl} ether

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2014
The title compounds, C36H28OP2S2, (1), and C36H28OP2Se2, (2), exhibit remarkably similar structures although they are not isomorphous. The whole molecule of compound (2) is generated by twofold symmetry, with the ether O atom located on the twofold axis.

New Flavonoid Glycosides from the Leaves of

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2017
The structures of four new flavonoid glycosides - apiotribosides A, B, C and D ( 1 - 4 , resp.) isolated from the leaves of Tribulus terrestris L. were identified as quercetin 3- O -β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→2)-[β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→6)]-β-glucopyranoside ( 1 )
