K‐Ion Storage Enhancement in Sb2O3/Reduced Graphene Oxide Using Ether‐Based Electrolyte

Advanced Energy Materials, 2019
In this work, an ether‐based electrolyte is adopted instead of conventional ester‐based electrolyte for an Sb2O3‐based anode and its enhancement mechanism is unveiled for K‐ion storage.

Surface Tension of Diethyl Ether, Diisopropyl Ether, and Dibutyl Ether

Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data, 2009
The surface tension of diethyl ether, diisopropyl ether, and dibutyl ether were measured with a differential capillary rise method over the temperature range from (258 to 373) K, (248 to 373) K, and (263 to 373) K, respectively. The uncertainties of measurements for the temperature and surface tension were estimated to be within ± 10 mK and ± 0.2 mN·m ...

Click-to-Release from trans-Cyclooctenes: Mechanistic Insights and Expansion of Scope from Established Carbamate to Remarkable Ether Cleavage.

Angewandte Chemie, 2018
The bioorthogonal cleavage of allylic carbamates from trans-cyclooctene (TCO) upon reaction with tetrazine is widely used to release amines. We disclose herein that this reaction can also cleave TCO esters, carbonates, and surprisingly, ethers ...

Into the Ether

Dissent, 2011
In 1983, Lewis Hyde published The Gift, a meditation on gift economies where art and ideas escaped the indignity of a market value. As a poet, he wanted to show that "the commerce of the creative spirit" could not flourish as pure commodity exchange.

Impurities in ether

The American Journal of Surgery, 1939
T HERE is a great Iack of information both on the occurrence and on the effects of impurities which may occur in ether. Only since 1925 have cases of so-called ether convuIsions been reported in the literature. The EngIish have emphasized two factors which have been present in the majority of cases reported: (I) the patients have been young and (2 ...
