Preparation of Phi29 DNA polymerase free of amplifiable DNA using ethidium monoazide, an ultraviolet-free light-emitting diode lamp and trehalose. [PDF]
We previously reported that multiply-primed rolling circle amplification (MRPCA) using modified random RNA primers can amplify tiny amounts of circular DNA without producing any byproducts.

THE IMPACT OF THE GENETIC FACTOR IN THE REALIZATION OF THE ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION AND METABOLIC DISORDERS AT CHILDREN WITH OVERWEIGHT OR OBESITY [PDF]
Essential arterial hypertension is a multifactor pathology and in its realization genetic and environmental factors play a very important role. It is estimated that 30-60% of the variation of the arterial hypertension among people is due to genetic ...

Liposomes can be used for the intracellular delivery of drugs into macrophages. Previously, we developed a liposome-mediated macrophage 'suicide' technique based on the intraphagocytic accumulation of the liposomally delivered bisphosphonate clodronate. Later we found that the diamidine propamidine is even more effective in this approach.

Simple and efficient way to detect small polymorphic bands in plants
There are many ways to detect polymorphism. In this study we use the microsatellite markers to detect the polymorphism for the salt tolerance. This method has been successfully conducted in Oryza sativa and Brassica juncea.

A multidrug ABC transporter with a taste for salt.
BackgroundLmrA is a multidrug ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter from Lactococcus lactis with no known physiological substrate, which can transport a wide range of chemotherapeutic agents and toxins from the cell. The protein can functionally replace

ABSTRACT Vascularization remains a major obstacle in tissue engineering. Here, we introduce a bioprinting strategy to generate centimeter‐scale, self‐organizing “mother vessel” constructs from iPSC‐derived hiMPCs. By optimizing bioink composition, printing was accomplished in a single‐step approach. Within one week, hiMPCs differentiated into both CD31+

Inhibition of KDELR2 in a small fraction of tumor cells generates sustainable immunogenic cell death conditions within the tumor microenvironment. These conditions promote the regression of tumors in a T cell independent manner. During regression, macrophages prime T cells that subsequently provide systemic protection against recurrence. The potency of
