Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes

Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

Tissue‐Stimulator Platform for Electrically Stimulating Pancreatic β‐Cells for Long‐Term Functional Regulation

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

ニッケル-カーボン触媒を用いるエチレン重合で,種々の添加剤を加えその影響を検討した。ハロゲン,ハロゲン化炭化水素,プロトン酸,π-酸などを加えると,重合収量と分子量の減少をもたらし触媒活性点を失活させると同時に,停止反応を行なうと考えられる。Lewis塩基の添加は重合収量を低下させるが,分子量にはほとんど影響を与えない。これはLewis塩基が重合反応開始前に触媒活性種と安定な配位化合物を形成するためである。アルコールの添加によって重合収量の増加がみられることから,共触媒と考えられ,水の影響についても同じようなことが推察される。また添加剤によるポリエチレン構造の変化について簡単に検討を加えた。
