Plant Species Biology, Volume 40, Issue 6, Page 572-583, November 2025.Spatial distribution pattern were studied for Ceratozamia fuscoviridis, an endangered species in Mexico, based on Ripley's K t and K 12 analysis. Clumped spatial distribution patters was found in individuals of all populations, suggesting low interaction with predators/dispersers and/or evidence of suitable microsites for cycads.

The preference for energetic resources is positively associated with predatory activity in ants

Hide and Seek: Species Detectability in a Biodiversity Hotspot Increased by Environmental DNA
Environmental DNA, Volume 7, Issue 4, July–August 2025.We demonstrated through Bayesian modeling that eDNA metabarcoding offers equivalent or higher detectability than traditional field inventory techniques for anuran species in a biodiversity hotspot. The number of recorded species was also higher in seven out of ten sampled streams.
