Gate‐Programmable Linearization of Atomically Thin Nanoelectromechanical Resonators via Duffing Nonlinearity Cancellation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Gate bias is used to cancel Duffing nonlinearity in atomically thin MoS2 drumhead resonators, switching their response from hardening to softening and creating a nearly linear operating point. This electrical control suppresses hysteresis, enables stronger linear drive, and improves signal‐to‐noise ratio, offering a practical route to stable 2D NEMS ...

Consistency vs. Judicialization: The EU Investment Court System as a Paradigm for Reforming ISDS

open access: yesJournal of Social Science and Humanities
This paper examines the EU’s Investment Court System (ICS) as a model of “constrained judicialization” in response to widespread concerns about the current Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) system. ICS introduces a more structured approach to investment disputes by combining centralized appellate review with mechanisms that protect state ...

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Thermodynamic Limits to Molecular Doping in Conjugated Polymers: A Perspective on Phase Behavior and Miscibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

EU's Influence on Romania's Judicial System: A Step Towards Democratic Consolidation?

open access: yesSfera Politicii, 2012
This article explores the general theme of how international actors, such as European Union, influence new democracies from Central and Eastern Europe. The contention that as long as the EU requirements regarding domestic aspects of the post communist member states are high, the reform and change at the national level are low, demands evidence and ...

EU Ethical Charter on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Judicial Systems with a part of the law being established on Blockchain as a trojan horse anti-counterfeiting in a Global perspective

open access: yesCourier of Kutafin Moscow State Law University, 2020
In 2018 the use of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms in European judicial systems remains primarily a private-sector commercial initiative aimed at insurance companies, legal departments, lawyers and individuals. The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) of the Council of Europe in the 4 of the december 2018 has adopted the ...

Clustomesogen Showing Sub‐Zero Liquid Crystal Properties: Supramolecular Assembly Between Cs2[Mo6Ii8(OCOC2F5)6] and Hexaethylenoxide Containing Mesogenic Dimers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Associating a red‐NIR phosphorescent octahedral hexanuclear molybdenum cluster compound with hexaethyleneoxide chains bearing mesogenic units on both ends leads to an emissive hybrid liquid crystal showing mesomorphism on a very unusual temperature range down to −25°C.
