Parasitoid Complex of Eucallipterus tiliae (Homoptera: Drepanosiphidae) in Northern California
Trioxys curcicaudus Mackauer was imported into northern California in 1970 for control of the linden aphid, Eucallipterus tiliae (L.). In 1991, it was found no farther than 40 km from the release sites, but in this area it is the dominant primary parasitoid attacking the aphid.

Wolbachia, Spiroplasma, and Rickettsia symbiotic bacteria in aphids (Aphidoidea) [PDF]
Aphids are a diverse family of crop pests. Aphids formed a complex relationship with intracellular bacteria. Depending on the region of study, the species composition of both aphids and their facultative endosymbionts varies.

Aphidophagous ladybirds (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) and climate change: a review
Due to climate change, the geographic ranges of many aphidophagous ladybirds will alter; these changes will likely be accompanied by some degree of evolutionary and/or phenotypically plastic response. Aphidophagous ladybirds probably exhibit limited phenological sensitivity due to underlying flexibility in dormancy and voltinism and because of the ...
