Psidium guajava leaves contain potent bioactive compounds like quercetin, myricetin, and triterpenoids that show antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti‐inflammatory, and anticancer effects. They act by modulating NF‐κB, PPARγ, and α‐glucosidase and by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.

Turmeric essential oil‐loaded wheat starch cryogels as superabsorbent pads for active packaging of fish fillets

Abstract BACKGROUND This study aimed to create a cryogel with water‐absorbing and antioxidant properties. Wheat starch (10%, w/v) was used to produce cryogels, which were then incorporated with turmeric essential oil (TEO) at two concentrations: 20% and 30% (w/w of starch).

Nocturnal awakening secondary to pain in sleep‐related painful erection: A case report and literature review

Abstract A 41‐year‐old male patient presented with a 13‐year history of recurrent nocturnal penile pain associated with erections during sleep. Over the course of his illness, the patient attended outpatient clinics on 298 occasions and was hospitalized three times. The primary symptom reported was erectile pain occurring during sleep.
