IRRIGATION FREQUENCIES FOR Eucalyptus grandis SEEDLINGS

open access: yesREVISTA ENGENHARIA NA AGRICULTURA - REVENG, 2020
One of the bottlenecks in relation to the production of forest seedlings is irrigation, especially in less-tech nurseries. The small volumes of substrate, where the seedlings develop, lead to low water storage. This fact can lead to water deficit and significant losses in the production of seedlings, generating even mortality.

Cellular antioxidant activities of polyphenols isolated from Eucalyptus leaves (Eucalyptus grandis×Eucalyptus urophylla GL9)

open access: yesJournal of Functional Foods, 2014
An activity-guided isolation process was performed to identify the antioxidant constituents of Eucalyptus leaves (Eucalyptus grandis × Eucalyptus urophylla GL9). The ethyl acetate extract showed the highest activity in scavenging DPPH radical among five different fractions extracted from 70% aqueous ethanol extract of Eucalyptus leaves.

Termorretificação e Colorimetria da Madeira de Eucalyptus grandis [PDF]

open access: yesFloresta e Ambiente, 2014

Coppice potential of 16 different species of Eucalyptus after an eight-year rotation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The adoption of coppice is a commonly used management in different regions of Brazil for plantations of Eucalyptus, which requires less investments. However, there are variations in the ability of each genotype to emit sprouts, and higher yields can be ...

The impacts of biological invasions

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Anthropocene is characterised by a continuous human‐mediated reshuffling of the distributions of species globally. Both intentional and unintentional introductions have resulted in numerous species being translocated beyond their native ranges, often leading to their establishment and subsequent spread – a process referred to as biological
