Performance Triggered Adaptive Model Reduction for Soil Moisture Estimation in Precision Irrigation
ABSTRACT Accurate soil moisture information is essential for precise irrigation to enhance water use efficiency. Estimating soil moisture based on limited soil moisture sensors is especially critical for obtaining comprehensive soil moisture information when dealing with large‐scale agricultural fields.

Some hemivariational inequalities in the Euclidean space
The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of weak solutions for some classes of hemivariational problems in the Euclidean space ℝd (d ≥ 3). These hemivariational inequalities have a variational structure and, thanks to this, we are able to find

On Jacobi-Type Vector Fields on Riemannian Manifolds
In this article, we study Jacobi-type vector fields on Riemannian manifolds. A Killing vector field is a Jacobi-type vector field while the converse is not true, leading to a natural question of finding conditions under which a Jacobi-type vector field ...

Thinking Outside the Euclidean Box: Riemannian Geometry and Inter-Temporal Decision-Making. [PDF]
Inter-temporal decisions involves assigning values to various payoffs occurring at different temporal distances. Past research has used different approaches to study these decisions made by humans and animals.

We study duality of field theories in (d+1) dimensional flat Euclidean space and (d+1) dimensional Euclidean AdS space for both scalar the and vector fields. In the case of the scalar theory, the injective map between conformally coupled massless scalars

Euclidean field theory on a sphere [PDF]
This paper is concerned with a structural analysis of euclidean field theories on the euclidean sphere. In the first section we give proposal for axioms for a euclidean field theory on a sphere in terms of C*-algebras. Then, in the second section, we investigate the short-distance behavior of euclidean field theory models on the sphere by making use ...

High energy QCD Lipatov's effective action in Euclidean space [PDF]
The continuation of high energy QCD Lipatov's effective action to Euclidean space is performed. The resulting Euclidean QCD RFT action is considered separately in Euclidean "light-cone" coordinates and axial gauge suitable for the numerical and analytical calculations correspondingly. The further application of the obtained results is also discussed.

A framework for generalising the Newton method and other iterative methods from Euclidean space to manifolds [PDF]
The Newton iteration is a popular method for minimising a cost function on Euclidean space. Various generalisations to cost functions defined on manifolds appear in the literature.

A Case‐Based Reasoning Approach to Model Manufacturing Constraints for Impact Extrusion
A hybrid modeling approach is presented that combines constraint‐based process modeling and case‐based reasoning. The model formalizes manufacturing constraints and integrates simulation data to model complex manufacturing processes. The approach supports manufacturability analysis during product design through an adaptive modeling environment.
