Transistor‐Level Activation Functions via Two‐Gate Designs: From Analog Sigmoid and Gaussian Control to Real‐Time Hardware Demonstrations

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Screen gate‐based transistors are presented, enabling tunable analog sigmoid and Gaussian activations. The SA‐transistor improves MRI classification accuracy, while the GA‐transistor supports precise Gaussian kernel tuning for forecasting. Both functions are implemented in a single device, offering compact, energy‐efficient analog AI processing ...

On convolution surfaces in Euclidean 3-space

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Sciences and Modelling, 2018
In the present paper we study with the convolution surface $C=M\star N$ of a paraboloid $M\subset \mathbb{E}^{3}$ and a parametric surface $N\subset \mathbb{E}^{3}$.

Untethered Magnetic Microswimmers for Targeted Particle Transport and Flow Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work introduces magnetically actuated microswimmers to dynamically reconfigure fluid flow within a single microfluidic device. Multiple homogeneous microswimmers are independently controlled by an external magnetic field to perform translational and rotational motions, thereby inducing real‐time flow manipulation.

On the Dirac Eigenvalues as Observables of the on-shell N=2 D=4 Euclidean Supergravity

open access: yes, 2004
We generalize previous works on the Dirac eigenvalues as dynamical variables of the Euclidean gravity and N=1 D=4 supergravity to on-shell N=2 D=4 Euclidean supergravity. The covariant phase space of the theory is defined as as the space of the solutions

Microwave‐Assisted Aqueous Synthesis of Gelatin‐Norbornene for Hydrogel Crosslinking and Bioprinting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A microwave‐assisted reaction is utilized to synthesize gelatin‐norbornene (GelNB), achieving a high degree of norbornene functionalization while reducing the macromer's upper critical solution temperature. The resulting GelNB macromer has high solubility at room temperature, facilitating light‐based 3‐dimensional (3D) printing of thiol‐norbornene ...

Homothetic motions in Euclidean 3-space

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2014
A one-parameter homothetic motion of a rigid body in three-dimensional Euclidean space is defined by means of the Hamilton operators. We investigate some properties of this motion and show that it has only one pole point at every instant  Furthermore ...

Offset Ruled Surface in Euclidean Space with Density

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2021
In this paper, offset ruled surfaces in these spaces are defined by using the geometry of ruled surfaces in Euclidean space with density. The mean curvature and Gaussian curvature of these surfaces are studied.

On the total mean curvature of non-rigid surfaces

open access: yes, 2008
Using Green's theorem we reduce the variation of the total mean curvature of a smooth surface in the Euclidean 3-space to a line integral of a special vector field and obtain the following well-known theorem as an immediate consequence: the total mean ...

Vision‐Assisted Avocado Harvesting with Aerial Bimanual Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work outlines the design and implementation of a bimanual aerial robot that employs visual perception and learning to detect, reach, and harvest avocados. A new gripper and fixer arm assembly is used to harvest avocados, while visual perception enables the detection of avocados and estimation of their position and orientation for determining ...

Some generic hypersurfaces in a Euclidean space

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
In this paper, we find three nontrivial characterizations of Euclidean spheres. In the first result, we show that the existence of a nonzero nontrivial concircular vector field $ {\omega } $ on a compact and connected hypersurface $ N $ of the Euclidean ...
