Generalized Euler's beta matrix and related functions
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2013In this paper, we define generalizations of Euler's beta, gamma, hypergeometric and confluent hypergeometric matrix functions. Then, recurrence relations and integral representations are derived for generalizations of Euler's beta and gamma matrix functions.

A generalization of the Euler beta function and applications
gmj, 2011Abstract A generalization of the Euler beta function to the case of a multi-dimensional variable is defined. In this context, the original beta function is a function of a two-dimensional variable. An analogue of the Euler formula for this new function is derived for the case of a three-dimensional variable. Based on the derived formula,

COMPARISON BETWEEN POLYNOMIAL, EULER BETA-FUNCTION AND EXPO-RATIONAL B-SPLINE BASES
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2011Euler Beta‐function B‐splines (BFBS) are the practically most important instance of generalized expo‐rational B‐splines (GERBS) which are not true expo‐rational B‐splines (ERBS). BFBS do not enjoy the full range of the superproperties of ERBS but, while ERBS are special functions computable by a very rapidly converging yet approximate numerical ...

When working with a set of linear functions and the configration of hyperplanes they define, one encounters a matrix of multidimensional hypergeometric integrals. We give a formula which expresses the determinant of this matrix in terms of critical values of the linear functions restricted to the configuration. Bibliography: 26 titles.
