On the application of Euler deconvolution to the analytic signal
Abstract Standard Euler deconvolution is applied to potential-field functions that are homogeneous and harmonic. Homogeneity is necessary to satisfy the Euler deconvolution equation itself, whereas harmonicity is required to compute the vertical derivative from data collected on a horizontal plane, according to potential-field theory.

Multiridge Euler deconvolution [PDF]
ABSTRACTPotential field interpretation can be carried out using multiscale methods. This class of methods analyses a multiscale data set, which is built by upward continuation of the original data to a number of altitudes conveniently chosen. Euler deconvolution can be cast into this multiscale environment by analysing data along ridges of potential ...

Ratio-Euler deconvolution and its applications
Geophysical Prospecting, 2022ABSTRACTEuler deconvolution of potential field data is widely applied to obtain the location of concealed sources automatically. A lot of improvements have been proposed to eliminate the dependence of Euler deconvolution on the structural index that are based on the use of high‐order derivatives of the potential field and, therefore, sensitive to data ...

Avoidable Euler Errors – the use and abuse of Euler deconvolution applied to potential fields†
Geophysical Prospecting, 2014ABSTRACTWindow‐based Euler deconvolution is commonly applied to magnetic and sometimes to gravity interpretation problems. For the deconvolution to be geologically meaningful, care must be taken to choose parameters properly. The following proposed process design rules are based partly on mathematical analysis and partly on experience.

An improved weighting Euler deconvolution for noisy data
GeophysicsABSTRACT The routine Euler deconvolution estimates the source location from potential data without requiring additional constraint information, making it widely used in geophysical applications. Because derivative operators are used in the Euler deconvolutions, they are somewhat sensitive to noise in the data.

Multiple-source Euler deconvolution
Geophysics, 1999Abstract Rapid three-dimensional (3-D) source location methods can be extremely useful in framing a subsurface structural model from gravity or magnetic data. However, existing implementations of Euler deconvolution are limited to a single source in each window. This can be a significant limitation in areas of complex structure.

New Discrimination Techniques for Euler Deconvolution
8th SAGA Biennial Technical Meeting and Exhibition, 2003Euler deconvolution (Thompson, 1982; Reid et al, 1990) has come into wide use as an aid to interpreting profile or gridded magnetic survey data. It provides automatic estimates of source location and depth.

Euler deconvolution of gravity data
SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2003, 2003Euler deconvolution of both profile and gridded magnetic data (Thompson, 1982; Reid et al, 1990) has found wide application. It has been implemented by many organisations and individuals and is commercially available from several suppliers. Applications to gravity are fewer. Marson & Klingele (1993) applied it to gravity vertical gradients.
