A new concept in Euler deconvolution of isolated gravity anomalies

Geophysical Prospecting, 2000
Euler's homogeneity equation has been used to develop a new technique to interpret the gravity anomalies over some simple geometrical sources, namely a finite horizontal line/vertical line, a finite vertical ribbon, a semicircular dome/basin and an isosceles triangle approximating an anticline/syncline.

Euler Deconvolution in Cylindrical and Spherical Coordinate Systems

Proceedings, 2012
Euler deconvolution is a commonly used technique for the semi-automatic interpretation of potential field data. In the two dimensional case the known quantities are the field strength f, its horizontal and vertical gradients, and the structural index N. The unknown quantities are deltax and deltaz, the distance from a given point to the source location

Euler deconvolution and similar transformations of gravity or magnetic anomalies

56th EAEG Meeting, 1994
The property of gravity and magnetic anomalies as homogeneous functions is the basis of the Euler deconvolution (Reid et al., 1990), applied for first depth and shape estimations of the anomaly sources using simple approximations.

Tilt Angles And Euler Deconvolution Methods Of Emi Data

Proceedings, 2017
Summary Spatial derivative methods have been used in potential field for detecting of the edges (Blackely, 1992). Beamish (2012) studied spatial derivative methods for airborne geophysical data. Here, I consider tilt angles and Euler deconvolution methods ( Thompson, 1982 ; Reid et al., 1990 ) to a set of EMI data to delineate the boundary of buried ...
