Mass Exchange Flow Process in Side Channel Pumps: Effects of Different Geometrical Parameters
Figure 1 shows the Mass Flow Exchange (MFE) in the impeller at z = 7.5 × 10−3 m at 1.0 Q/QBEP, operating point for impeller scheme 1 (IMP 1), and impeller scheme 2 (IMP 2). The flow begins to exit the impeller at the outer radius and enters at the inner and central radii. IMP 1 exhibits more flow in and out compared to IMP 2. ABSTRACT The functionality

On a prolongation construction for local non-divergent vector fields on Rn
The problem of a prolongation of non-divergent vector field, defined in a vicinity of zero in Rn t, to a finite non-divergent vector field on Rn is considered.

Robust Control Using a Matrix Converter to Enhance Wind Turbine Systems
This study uses a more efficient and effective solution to improve the operational performance of a wind turbine‐based power system. This system uses a doubly fed induction generator and relies on a matrix converter and fractional‐order proportional–integral controller.

We introduce an efficient open‐source numerical framework for the automated search for the placements of injection and production wells in hot fracture‐controlled reservoirs that sustainably optimize geothermal energy production. We model the reservoirs as discrete fracture networks in 3D. The fluid flow and heat transport in the reservoirs are modeled

Local Polynomial Regression and Filtering for a Versatile Mesh‐Free PDE Solver
A high‐order, mesh‐free finite difference method for solving differential equations is presented. Both derivative approximation and scheme stabilisation is carried out by parametric or non‐parametric local polynomial regression, making the resulting numerical method accurate, simple and versatile. Numerous numerical benchmark tests are investigated for

Coherent Forecasting of Realized Volatility
ABSTRACT The QLIKE loss function is the stylized favorite of the literature on volatility forecasting when it comes to out‐of‐sample evaluation and the state of the art model for realized volatility (RV) forecasting is the HAR model, which minimizes the squared error loss for in‐sample estimation of the parameters.
