Utilization of Self-Immobilized Eupenicillium katenegenes for Production of Methandienone

Journal of Biocatalysis & Biotransformation, 2012
1 * Abstract Biotransformation is the process whereby a substance is changed from one chemical to another (transformed), by a chemical reaction. In the current work, appropriate method was developed to grow fungal pellets in flak batches inoculated with fungal spores, to improve the separation of the biomass from solution and reduce the extraction ...

[Kinetic characteristics of alpha-L-rhamnosidase of Eupenicillium erubescens].

Mikrobiolohichnyi zhurnal (Kiev, Ukraine : 1993), 2014
It was established, as a result of investigations of the alpha-L-rhamnosidase of Eupenicillium erubescens kinetic properties, that K(m) and V(max) for the corresponding synthetic substrate were 1.0 mM and 120 micromol/min/mg of protein, respectively.

Phomoxins B and C: Polyketides from an endophytic fungus of the genus Eupenicillium

Phytochemistry, 2005
Chemical investigations of the culture broth from an endophytic fungus Eupenicillium sp. have afforded two natural products phomoxins B (1) and C (2) as well as the previously reported fungal metabolite eupenoxide (3). Compounds 1 and 2 both contain a cyclic carbonate moiety that is rare among natural products. This paper reports the full spectroscopic

Genetic variation and recombination in Penicillium miczynskii and Eupenicillium species

Mycological Progress, 2004
Reproduction in the genus Penicillium is thought to be completely asexual. Sexual reproduction, as occurs in the related genus Eupenicillium, is thought to provide evolutionary benefits because it allows for new combinations of alleles and therefore increases the amount of variation within the species.

Studies on the genus Eupenicillium Ludwig IV. New species from soil

Mycopathologia et Mycologia Applicata, 1968
Eight new species ofEupenicillium are described and illustrated. They areE. terrenum sp. nov.E. senticosum sp. nov.,E. stolkiae sp. nov.,E. meridianum sp. nov.,E. erubescens sp. nov.,E. alutaceum sp. nov.,E. inusitatum sp. nov. andE. catenatum sp. nov. Their conidial states represent new species of the genusPenicillium.

[Component composition of Cryptococcus albidus and Eupenicillium erubescens alpha-L-rhamnosidases].

Mikrobiolohichnyi zhurnal (Kiev, Ukraine : 1993), 2014
The component composition of Cryptococcus albidus and Eupenicillium erubescers alpha-L-rhamnosidases have studied. It was shown that enzymes have a monomeric structure. Enzyme preparations of C. albidus and E. erubescens have similar qualitative but differ in quantitative amino acid composition. alpha-L-rhamnosidase of C.

[Purification and physico-chemical properties of Eupenicillium erubescens alpha-L- rhamnosidase].

Mikrobiolohichnyi zhurnal (Kiev, Ukraine : 1993), 2012
A scheme of isolation and purification of the enzyme with alpha-L-rhamnosidase activity has been developed. It included fractionation by ammonium sulfate and chromatography on TSK-gels Toyopearl HW-60, Fractogel TSK DEAE-650-s and Sepharose 6B. The enzyme was purified 60 times with the yield of 0.5%.
