Mössbauer studies of 151Eu in europium oxalate, europium bissalen ammonium and europium benzoate
Hyperfine Interactions, 2006Although a number of europium water insoluble chelates have been prepared for several decades, the covalent nature of these compounds has never been established in any quantitative fashion. Shifts in the I.R. bands and conductivity measurements of these salts were hitherto used to qualitatively compare their molecular nature. In this communique we have

Labeling Antibodies Using Europium
Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2020There are many uses for antibodies labeled with metal ions. Most of these methods involve first attaching a metal chelator to the antibody molecule. This is achieved using standard cross-linking chemistry and then adding the desired metal at appropriate concentration and pH. The method described here outlines a basic procedure for creating a lanthanide

Fluorescent Europium Chelate Stain
Journal of Bacteriology, 1969The europium chelate of 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-(2-thienyl)-1,3-butanedione (thenoyl-trifluoroacetone; TTA) is firmly bound to microorganisms. It fluoresces brightly at 613 nm with activation at 340 nm. Cells may be stained with 10 −3 m chelate in 50% ethyl alcohol, followed by washing with 50% ethyl alcohol ...

Europium-151 Mössbauer effect study of europium orthovanadite
Hyperfine Interactions, 1992151Eu Mossbauer spectroscopy on Eu VO3 in the temperature range of 9-293 K indicated that there is a large increase ofeV zzQg when temperature goes from 293K down to 9K.

Gadolinium Doped Europium Sulfide
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2010We have prepared gadolinium doped europium sulfides, Eu(1-x)Gd(x)S for a doping range of 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1 by thermal decomposition of the precursors Eu(S(2)CNEt(2))(3)Phen/Gd(S(2)CNEt(2))(3)Phen with respective ratios. Electron doping provides indirect evidence for the magnetic coupling through carrier electrons in magnetic semiconductors.
