The effects of Isaria farinosa (Holm.) and Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) on adult stages of sunn pests Eurygaster integriceps Puton and Eurygaster austriaca (Schrk.) were investigated at 27±1°C, 95% r.h. and 16L:8D in the laboratory. Two concentrations, 1×106 and 1×108 conidia ml-1, were used.

Lutte biologique contre Eurygaster integriceps

Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology Part B: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 2011
Insects protect themselves from microbial invaders by two main immune activities, namely the cellular and humoral reactions. Phenoloxidases are oxidative enzymes that have an important role in both cell-mediated and humoral immunity. In this study, the purification and biochemical characterization of a phenoloxidase from the hemocytes of the Sunn pest ...

cDNAs coding for a mature form of glutenin-cleaving trypsin-like proteinase (referred to as glutenin-hydrolyzing proteinase 3 or GHP3) from the insect pest-Eurygaster integriceps Put. and a zymogen of this proteinase containing a signal peptide required for protein secretion were cloned into vectors pPIC9 and pPIC3.5, respectively.
