(Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) is the most prevalent stink bug pest in Brazil, and populations can be difficult to manage using organophosphates or endosulfan. However, during a collection expedition in soybean crops in Amapá State, Euschistus atrox (Westwood) was identified as the predominant Euschistus species in these areas.
