Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Harnessing ferroptosis from multilayer defense networks to nanoplatforms for specific cancer therapy

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials target metabolically‐regulated ferroptosis for cancer therapy. Iron‐based or alternative nanoplatforms integrate ferroptosis with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiotherapy. They enable stimulus‐responsive therapies (photothermal, photodynamic, sonodynamic) activated by near‐infrared, light, or ultrasound, achieving potent synergistic ...

A nanoplatform that induces dual‐amino acid deprivation to reverse tumor immunosuppression and enhance metabolic immunotherapy

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
ZIF‐8‐based nanoparticles co‐delivering CB‐839 (glutaminase inhibitor) and 1‐MT (IDO1 inhibitor), dual‐targeting glutamine/tryptophan metabolism to induce immunogenic cell death, activate STING, block kynurenine production, reverse immunosuppression, and enhance cancer immunotherapy to suppress primary/distant tumors.

The Analysis of an Economic Growth Model with Tax Evasion and Delay [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we formulate an economic model with tax evasion, corruption and taxes. In the first part the static model is considered, where there are a representative agent and a public institution.

Tackling cancer stemness with nanotechnology in the era of precision medicine

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Precise customization of nanoparticles (NPs) enables active targeting of cancer stem cells (CSCs), thereby improving drug delivery and therapeutic efficacy. NP‐based probing enhances CSC detection through imaging and liquid biopsy, whereas diverse therapeutic payloads improve therapeutic outcomes.

A Tax Evasion - Bribery Game: Experimental Evidence from Ukraine [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper examines the issue of tax evasion by enterprises through underreporting activity. We develop a view of this phenomenon as an equilibrium of the game between a businessman and an imperfectly monitored supervising official, in which a ...

Nanomedicine‐driven innovations in postoperative cancer immunotherapy: Remodeling tumor microenvironment and precision delivery strategies

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Nanomedicine‐Driven Strategies for Suppressing Postoperative Tumor Recurrence. This schematic illustrates three pivotal nanomedical strategies that synergistically counteract recurrence by targeting residual disease and the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment within the surgical cavity.
