ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment and exercise intolerance are common in dialysis patients. Cerebral perfusion and oxygenation play a major role in both cognitive function and exercise execution; HD session per se aggravates cerebral ischemia in this population. This study aimed to compare cerebral oxygenation and perfusion at rest and in mild

Oscillation Criteria of Higher-order Neutral Differential Equations with Several Deviating Arguments
This work is concerned with the oscillatory behavior of solutions of even-order neutral differential equations. By using the technique of Riccati transformation and comparison principles with the second-order differential equations, we obtain a new ...

ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

Finite groups whose maximal subgroups of even order are MSN-groups
A finite group GG is called an MSN-group if all maximal subgroups of the Sylow subgroups of GG are subnormal in GG. In this article, we investigate the structure of finite groups GG such that GG is a non-MSN-group of even order in which every maximal ...

Generalized quadrangles of even order
AbstractThe quadrangles constructed by Tits using ovoids in finite desarguian planes are shown to be special cases of an abstractly much larger class which also includes a recent generalization of Thas. The general construction is obtained by coordinatizing a quadrangle in terms of a certain group of collineations.

Transitive conical flocks of even order
Let \({\mathcal K}\) be a quadratic cone in \(\text{ PG}(3,q)\) with vertex \(x\). A flock of \({\mathcal K}\) is a set of conics partitioning \({\mathcal K} \setminus \{ x \}\). The authors classify the flocks of a quadratic cone in \(\text{ PG}(3,q)\) that admit a group in \(PGL(4,q)\) that acts transitively on the \(q\) conics of the flock.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Oscillation for neutral differential equations of canonical form of even-order
In this article, I aimed to investigate the oscillatory properties of a novel class of neutral differential equations in their canonical form. I established new relationships between the solutions of the studied equation and their higher-order ...

Periodic Solutions of a Class of Even Order Differential Equations [PDF]
We investigate sufficient conditions (theorem 1) for the non-existence or periodic solutions of equation (2. 1) with P=0 and sufficient conditions (theorem 2) for existence of periodic solutions of equation ( 1.1.1 )

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)
