Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Topographic Mapping of P300 and Frontal Cognitive Function in Parkinson’s Disease

open access: yesBehavioural Neurology, 2000
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between P300 that is one of the event-related potentials and frontal cognitive functions in Parkinson’s disease (PD) without clinically apparent dementia.

P300 event-related potentials in patients with different subtypes of depressive disorders

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychiatry, 2023
ObjectiveTo explore the differences in event-related potentials (ERPs) of the subclinical types of major depressive disorders (MDD): melancholic (MEL), atypical (ATY), and anxious (ANX).MethodsPatients with MDD treated in the Clinical Department of ...

Event‐Related Oscillations Versus Event‐Related Potentials in a P300 Task as Biomarkers for Alcoholism [PDF]

open access: yesAlcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research, 2010
Objective:  It has been proposed that event‐related oscillation (ERO) measures of EEG activity recorded in P300 tasks provide more powerful biomarkers of alcoholism than event‐related potential (ERP) measures. This study examines this question in a group of long‐term abstinent alcoholics (LTAAs).Methods:  EEGs were recorded on 48 LTAAs and 48 age and ...

Art expertise modulates the emotional response to modern art, especially abstract: An ERP investigation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Art is one of life’s great joys, whether it is beautiful, ugly, sublime or shocking. Aesthetic responses to visual art involve sensory, cognitive and visceral processes.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

P300 Modulation via Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation in Adult Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: A Crossover Study

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychiatry, 2022
ObjectiveA repeated finding regarding event-related potentials (ERPs) is that patients with ADHD show a reduced P300 amplitude. This raises the question of whether the attention of ADHD patients can be increased by stabilizing the P300. Assuming that the

Enhanced Glycolysis‐Driven Histone H3K18 Lactylation Regulates Epileptogenesis by Modulating the E3 Ubiquitin Ligase COP1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neuronal PKM2‐driven glycolysis generates excess lactate that triggers histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la), establishing a pathogenic metabolic‐epigenetic axis in epilepsy. Elevated H3K18la enriches the Cop1 promoter, transcriptionally upregulating the E3 ubiquitin ligase COP1, which subsequently drives proteasomal degradation of GABAARβ2 and impairs ...

Auditory event-related potentials in methadone substituted opiate users [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The effects of methadone maintenance treatment (MMT) on neurophysiological function are unclear. Using an auditory oddball paradigm, event-related potential (ERP) amplitudes and latencies were measured in 32 patients undertaking MMT, 17 opiate users who ...

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...
