Revealing brain’s cognitive process deeply: a study of the consistent EEG patterns of audio-visual perceptual holistic

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience
IntroductionTo investigate the brain’s cognitive process and perceptual holistic, we have developed a novel method that focuses on the informational attributes of stimuli.MethodsWe recorded EEG signals during visual and auditory perceptual cognition ...

Quantum Stationary Hamilton Jacobi Equation in 3-D for symmetrical potentials. Introduction of the Spin [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2001
We establish the quantum stationary Hamilton-Jacobi equation in 3-D and its solutions for three symmetrical potentials, Cartesian symmetry potential, spherical symmetry potential and cylindrical symmetry potential. For the two last potentials, a new interpretation of the Spin is proposed within the framework of trajectory representation.

Primary task event-related potentials related to different aspects of information processing [PDF]

open access: yes
The results of two studies which investigated the relationships between cognitive processing and components of transient event-related potentials (ERPs) are presented in a task in which mental workload was manipulated. The task involved the monitoring of

Age-related Differences in Prestimulus Subsequent Memory Effects Assessed with Event-related Potentials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Prestimulus subsequent memory effects (preSMEs)—differences in neural activity elicited by a task cue at encoding that are predictive of later memory performance—are thought to reflect differential engagement of preparatory processes that benefit ...

Insertion of the FeB cofactor in cNORs lacking metal inserting chaperones

open access: yesFEBS Letters, Volume 599, Issue 9, Page 1269-1284, May 2025.
Nitric oxide reductase is an enzyme found in the bacterial denitrification pathway. The NOR active site contains a non‐heme iron, often, but not always inserted with the assistance of chaperones. Here, we study the insertion of FeB in the subfamily of cNORs lacking chaperones and found a putative channel, conserved in the family, perhaps enabling the ...

Regularized One Dimensional Coulomb Potential Induced by the Presence of Minimal Lengths [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2005
In this paper we address the problem of a particle moving in singular one dimensional potentials in the framework of quantum mechanics with minimal length. Using the momentum space representation we solve exactly the Schrodinger equation for the Dirac delta potential and Coulomb potential.

Structural and mechanistic basis for the regulation of the chloroplast signal recognition particle by (p)ppGpp

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LHCPs are transported to the thylakoid membrane via the (cp)SRP pathway. This process involves a transit complex of (cp)SRP43, (cp)SRP54 and LHCP, which interacts with (cp)FtsY and Alb3 at the membrane. GTP hydrolysis by (cp)SRP54 and (cp)FtsY triggers complex dissociation.

Reusable Multielectrode Array Technique for Electroencephalography in Awake Freely Moving Mice

open access: yesFrontiers in Integrative Neuroscience, 2018
Translational comparison of rodent models of neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases to human electroencephalography (EEG) biomarkers in these conditions will require multisite rodent EEG on the skull surface, rather than local area ...

The electrostatic potential of a periodic lattice [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We calculate the electrostatic potential of a periodic lattice of arbitrary extended charges by using the Cartesian multipole formalism. This method allows the separation of the long-range potential from the contact potential (potential on the source).
