Molecular Events Involved in the Morphogenesis of Multicystic Dysplastic Kidney
Urologia Internationalis, 2010Introduction: Wnt-1 is capable of inducing metanephric mesenchyme to undergo tubulogenesis. A relationship between the degree of cystogenesis and reduced E-cadherin (E-cad) expression was described. Syndecan-1 (Sdc-1) has a critical role in kidney development.

Involving City Authorities in Event Planning
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2012The aim of the study is to highlight how event planning may play a considerable role in strategies of positioning and systemic increase in the value of territories. This can be achieved through a formal partnership between public institutions and private subjects based on shared goals, a clear hierarchical coordination of the actors-participants, and ...

Investigation of Events Involving Human Performance
Proceedings of the Human Factors Society Annual Meeting, 1991Human performance-related events having safety and operational effectiveness implications at commercial nuclear power plants have been the subject of continued concern. Several recent events have been investigated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff.

The effects of involvement on children's memory for events
Cognitive Development, 1990Abstract The effects of involvement on children's reports of events were examined. In a first experiment, first and fourth graders' memory for self-performed and observed events was assessed. In all situations, children recalled more self-performed than other-performed activities.

Energetics of Coupled Events involving Small Compartments
Nature, 1967THE recent correspondence about intramitochondrial1–3 pH and intra-extramitochondrial pH. gradients4 does not touch on a related (and possibly naive) problem arising out of the extreme smallness of the space within a single mitochondrion.

MARVEL: a conserved domain involved in membrane apposition events
Trends in Biochemical Sciences, 2002MARVEL is a novel domain with a four transmembrane-helix architecture that has been identified in proteins of the myelin and lymphocyte (MAL), physins, gyrins and occludin families. Association with specialized membrane microdomains has been reported for some of these MARVEL domain-containing proteins.

Involvement of histocompatibility antigens in embryonic cell recognition events
Nature, 1978OBSERVATIONS of developmental events such as the sorting out of cells during organogenesis suggest that highly specific mechanisms exist for cells to migrate apart or aggregate together. Several assays of cell-to-cell binding using cells from developing tissues have provided probable in vitro analogues of these recognition mechanisms.

Adverse Drug Events Involving COX-2 Inhibitors
Annals of Pharmacotherapy, 2003OBJECTIVE: To describe the types and severity of adverse drug-related events (ADEs) observed in patients receiving cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors and to increase the awareness of risk factors that predispose patients to ADEs associated with COX-2 inhibitors.

Molecular events involved in differentiation of thyroid follicular cells
Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, 1998Organogenesis is a complex event, often dependent on inductive tissue interactions, that ultimately promote expression and activation of a combinatorial sequence of transcription factors which are involved in controlling migration, growth and differentiation.

Events: Cause or Consequence of Community Involvement
2016Throughout history, events have been bringing people together in a fixed and limited time and space to co-create an experience for participants, spectators, organisers and communities. Events are hosted to please crowds, increase the sense of place or to bring together traders, producers and costumers.
