Co-doped hydroxyapatites as potential materials for biomedical applications
Microchemical journal (Print), 2019Hydroxyapatite (HA) is a synthetic biomaterial resembling the composition of mammalian hard tissue and thus, it is widely employed as a bone graft material, hard tissue engineering scaffold and coating layer for metallic substrates. Biological apatite is

Gene Expression Patterns, 2005
The Evi-1 gene was first identified as a site for viral integration in murine myeloid leukemia. Evi-1 is a zinc finger transcription factor that has been implicated in the development of myeloid neoplasia. In humans, disruption of the Evi-1 locus, by chromosomal rearrangements, is associated with myeloid leukemia and myelodyplastic syndromes.

Experimental Production of Evi Antibodies
The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, 1982The production of an antibody which reacts with endocardium, blood vessels, and cardiac interstitial tissue (EVI factor) was experimentally obtained in rabbits immunized either with heterologous heart crude antigen, Trypanosoma cruzi antigen, a mixture of heart and T.

EVI, the economic vulnerability index, has been designed in 1999 by the CDP to be used for the identification of the LDCs, beside two other criteria, the level of income per capita and an indicator of human resources. It has actually been used in 2000 and 2003 by the CDP for its last two triennial reviews of the list of LDCs. After recalling the origin

The transcription factor Evi-1
The International Journal of Biochemistry & Cell Biology, 1999Evi-1 is a transcription factor with two sets of zinc finger domains. The temporally and spatially restricted pattern of Evi-1 expression in embryonic tissues suggests a role of Evi-1 in organogenesis and morphogenesis in mouse development. Mice lacking Evi-1, which die within the first few weeks of life with multiple defects in embryonic development ...

The cast for Adam and Evie is the most diverse cast ever seen on stage in terms of race, gender, age, ability and disability, and all other sorts of diversity. And the first couple we meet, Adam and Evie, will be on stage for the entire play, having a few scenes themselves, and, when they are not having a scene themselves, watching everyone and ...
