Multiobjective optimization for nuclear fleet evolution scenarios using COSI

open access: yesEPJ Nuclear Sciences & Technologies, 2016
The consequences of various fleet evolution options on material inventories and flux in fuel cycle and waste can be analysed by means of transition scenario studies.

URBANCO2FAB: COMPREHENSION OF CONCURRENT VIEWPOINTS OF URBAN FABRIC BASED ON GIT [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2018
The study of urban evolution requires representation and management of concurrent points of view using interoperable standards. An extension to CityGML has been recently proposed (Chaturvedi et al., 2017) to represent urban evolution. In this article, we

Cosmological Magnetic Fields from Primordial Helical Seeds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Most early Universe scenarios predict negligible magnetic fields on cosmological scales if they are unprocessed during subsequent expansion of the Universe. We present a new numerical treatment of the evolution of primordial fields and apply it to weakly

Beginnings of Developing Kinetic Scenarios of Plasma Evolution Due to Coulomb Collisions

open access: yesPlasma, 2021
A new logic of reducing the two-time formalism to a highly informative scenario of redistribution of plasma particles in momentum due to Coulomb collisions is reported.

Canonical Quantization and Expanding Metrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
The canonical formalism for expanding metrics scenarios is presented. Non-unitary time evolution implied by expanding geometry is described as a trajectory over unitarily inequivalent representations at different times of the canonical commutation ...

High redshift evolution of optically and IR-selected galaxies: a comparison with CDM scenarios [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A combination of ground-based (NTT and VLT) and HST (HDF-N and HDF-S) public imaging surveys have been used to collect a sample of 1712 I-selected and 319 $K\leq 21$ galaxies. Photometric redshifts have been obtained for all these galaxies.

Five- or six-step scenario for evolution? [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Astrobiology, 2008
AbstractThe prediction that (due to the limited amount of hydrogen available as fuel in the Sun) the future duration of our favourable terrestrial environment will be short (compared with the present age of the Earth) has been interpreted as evidence for a hard-step scenario.

Chemical Evolution in Hierarchical Clustering Scenarios [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 2004
We present first results of an implementation of chemical evolution in a cosmological hydrodynamical code, focusing the analysis on the effects of cooling baryons according to their metallicity. We found that simulations with primordial cooling can underestimate the star formation rate from z < 3 and by up to ≈ 20%.
