Exact boundary controllability for quasilinear wave equations
A unified constructive method is given to establish the local exact boundary controllability for one-dimensional quasilinear wave equations with boundary conditions of different ...

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Exact controllability for stochastic Schrödinger equations
This paper is addressed to studying the exact controllability for stochastic Schrödinger equations by two controls. One is a boundary control in the drift term and the other is an internal control in the diffusion term. By means of the standard duality argument, the control problem is converted into an observability problem for backward stochastic ...

International audienceThe aim of this work is to study the controllability of the bilinear Schr\"odinger equation on compact graphs. In particular, we consider the equation (BSE) $i\partial_t\psi=-\Delta\psi+u(t)B\psi$ in the Hilbert space $L^2(\mathscr ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Exact Null Controllability of String Equations with Neumann Boundaries
This article focuses on the exact null controllability of a one-dimensional wave equation in noncylindrical domains. Both the fixed endpoint and the moving endpoint are Neumann-type boundary conditions. The control is put on the moving endpoint. When the

The pyruvate generator, which causes activation of respiration by extra‐mitochondrial Ca2+, is also present and functional in rat brainstem mitochondria, as it is in other brain regions. This finding is confirmed by experiments with a fully reconstituted malate–aspartate shuttle (MAS).
