Mechanical mechanism and indicator of diffuse axonal injury under blast-type acceleration.
Journal of Biomechanics, 2023Diffuse axonal injury (DAI) caused by acceleration is one of the most prominent forms of blast-induced Traumatic Brain Injury. However, the mechanical mechanism and indicator of axonal deformation-induced injury under blast-type acceleration with high ...

CEGMA: Coordinated Elastic Graph Matching Acceleration for Graph Matching Networks
International Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture, 2023The recently proposed Graph Matching Network models (GMNs) effectively improve the inference accuracy of graph similarity analysis tasks. GMNs often take graph pairs as input, embed nodes features, and match nodes between graphs for similarity analysis ...

IM3A: Boosting Deep Neural Network Efficiency via In-Memory Addressing-Assisted Acceleration
ACM Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI, 2021Most existing RRAM-based designs require expensive analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and excessively occupied crossbars to achieve efficient acceleration.

Excessive Fluoride Consumption Leads to Accelerated Death of Erythrocytes and Anemia in Rats
Biological Trace Element Research, 2013The present study was performed to evaluate an overall effect of long-term consumption of excessive fluoride (F) amounts by rats on their erythrocytes. The animals were administered regular drinking water (0.4 ppm F) or the same water supplemented with 2, 10, and 20 ppm F (as NaF) for 12 months.

Accelerated gastric emptying in VMH-lesioned rats is secondary to excess weight gain
American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology, 1990This experiment evaluates the hypothesis that an accelerated rate of gastric emptying accounts for the hyperphagia and obesity after lesions of the ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH). Gastric emptying was measured for 16 days after the production of VMH lesions in rats maintained either ad libitum or on restricted eating.

We describe rapidly fatal cardiomyopathy in a young man. He had for twelve months ingested large amounts of ascorbic acid and was admitted with severe heart failure having been symptomatic for two months. He died after eight days. Idiopathic haemochromatosis was diagnosed at autopsy.
