Defect‐Templated Phase Engineering in Atomically Thin Metals
Graphene defects are transformed from passive imperfections into programmable templates for phase‐selective growth of atomically thin silver. Plasma‐generated boundary defects favor Ag(1), whereas sp3‐rich zero‐layer graphene promotes Ag(2). This defect‐directed intercalation links local graphene chemistry to crystalline phase, electronic structure ...

Non-Linear Effects of REER Misalignment on Banking Stability: New Evidence from Emerging Countries
This paper examines the impact of real effective exchange rate (REER) misalignment on banking stability, while emphasizing the moderating effect of institutional quality. We also aim to investigate the non-linearity of this relationship. Based on a panel

Current-account adjustments and exchange-rate misalignments [PDF]
This paper aims at studying current-account imbalances by paying a particular attention to exchange-rate misalignments. We rely on a nonlinear model linking the persistence of current-account imbalances to the deviation of the exchange rate to its equilibrium value.

Low‐Temperature Gold Deposition Improves CdTe Back Contacts
Cd(Se,Te) samples are cooled during the evaporation of Au back contacts to thermally quench CdTe degradation. Reduced temperature during Au evaporation boosts PV efficiency, open‐circuit voltage, and fill factor. XPS associates these improvements with less chemical perturbation of the CdTe surface during metallization.

Exchange rate determination and the flaws of mainstream monetary theory
Developing countries in general need flexibility and a sufficient number of instruments to prevent excessive volatility. Evidence does not support the orthodox belief that, with free floating, international financial markets will perform that role by ...

The deposition of Iron on pristine MoS2/Au(111) monolayers produces nanoparticles that donate charge to the support, generating Fe+2‐interfacial species. On the contrary, on defect‐engineered MoS2, sulfur vacancies trap sub‐nanometric Fe clusters and host two excess electrons that redistribute locally, suppressing Fe oxidation without formal Mo ...

Assessing Real Exchange Rate Misalignments [PDF]
There is a renewed debate on the role of exchange rate policies as an industrial policy tool in both academic and policy circles. Policy practitioners usually examine real exchange rate misalignments to monitor the behavior of this key relative price and, if possible, exploit distortions in the traded and non-traded relative price to promote growth ...

LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of
