Excimer laser surgery for myopia and myopic astigmatism
Australian and New Zealand Journal of Ophthalmology, 1995AbstractPhotorefractive keratectomy using the Summit Excimer Laser has been carried out on 1333 eyes with myopia or myopic astigmatism which have been followed up for six months or longer. Of those, 607 have been followed up for one year.Of the eyes with myopia or myopic astigmatism of up to 3 dioptres spherical equivalent, at one year 85.6% had ...

Excimer lasers for refractive surgery
SPIE Proceedings, 2003Over the last decade excimer lasers have been broadly used for technological and medical processes. One of the most widespread applications of excimer laser is the clinical use for refractive surgery. Refractive surgery with excimer lasers is the prevalent method for the eye acuity correction.

Excimer laser in arthroscopic surgery
SPIE Proceedings, 1991The development of efficient high-power lasersystems for use in surgery, especially in arthroscopic fields, leads to a new push for all endoscopic techniques. Both techniques, laser and endoscope, complete each other in an ideal way and allow applications which could not be reached with conventional techniques.

Undercorrection after excimer laser refractive surgery. Excimer Laser Group.
American journal of ophthalmology, 1996The incidence and correlations of undercorrection were studied for 1 year after excimer laser surgery for myopia or myuopic astigmatism.A consecutive series of 645 eyes of 440 patients were studied. Eyes were examined preoperatively and at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery. The parameters evaluated were visual acuity, refraction, and corneal clarity.

[Laser surgery for glaucoma: excimer-laser trabeculotomy].
Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde, 2006Excimer-laser trabeculotomy (ELT) is a new, minimally invasive surgical procedure for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma that can easily be combined with cataract surgery. We herein report our experience with ELT as a stand-alone procedure and ELT plus cataract surgery.A total of 135 patients with open-angle glaucoma (n = 128) or ocular hypertension (
