Pulse-Excited Vocoder System

The set of subchannel signals of a vocoder can be transmitted by a time—or a frequency—multiplexing system. It is shown that pulse techniques allow for a considerable reduction of hardware of the desired goal for a vocoder system is not minimum transmission-channel capacity but minimum hardware.

The method of generalized stationary potential is applied to obtain exact probability densities for multi-degree-of-freedom nonlinear Hamiltonian systems excited by Gaussian white noises. The excitations can be additive, or multiplicative, or both, and governing equations are more general than those previously reported in the literature.

By the method of ``modes'' introduced by Sawada, the excitation spectra of a fermion system with singular interactions have been obtained in three cases; (1) with one additional particle above and and one hole below the Fermi surface, (2) with one additional particle above the Fermi surface, and (3) with two particles above the Fermi surface.
