Recent developments in exergy analysis and exergoeconomics
International Journal of Exergy, 2008In advanced exergy analysis, the exergy destruction within a component of an energy conversion system can be split into avoidable/unavoidable exergy destruction and endogenous/exogenous exergy destruction. A combination of these two concepts provides accurate information with respect to improving the overall system efficiency.

Design Optimization Using Exergoeconomics
1999Exergoeconomics, this common branch of mechanical and chemical engineering, represents a unique combination of an exergy analysis and a cost analysis, to provide the designer or the operator of an energy-conversion plant with information not available through conventional energy, exergy or cost analyses but crucial to the design and operation of a cost-

Exergoeconomic Analysis of Solar-Distillation Systems
2017In exergoeconomic analysis, the mutual techniques of scientific disciplines (mainly thermodynamics) with economic disciplines (mainly cost accounting) are used in order to attain the overall optimal design of the renewable-energy system.

Definitions and nomenclature in exergy analysis and exergoeconomics
Energy, 2007This paper presents the definitions of some terms used in exergy analysis and exergy costing, discusses options for the symbols to be used for exergy and some exergoeconomic variables, and presents the nomenclature for the remaining terms.
