Effects of static charging and exfoliation of layered crystals [PDF]
Using first-principle plane wave method we investigate the effects of static charging on structural, elastic, electronic and magnetic properties of suspended, single layer graphene, graphane, fluorographene, BN and MoS2 in honeycomb structures.

Natural glauconite, as a mixed-layered clay mineral, was subjected to exfoliation processes, producing silicate monolayers or individual sheets that were further modified with methanol into methoxy exfoliated glauconite (Mth/EXG).

Solvent Exfoliation of Electronic-Grade, Two-Dimensional Black Phosphorus
Solution dispersions of two-dimensional (2D) black phosphorus (BP), often referred to as phosphorene, are achieved by solvent exfoliation. These pristine, electronic-grade BP dispersions are produced with anhydrous, organic solvents in a sealed tip ...

Electroactive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Electrocatalysis
Electrocatalysis is crucial in sustainable energy conversion as it enables efficient chemical transformations. The review discusses how metal–organic frameworks can revolutionize this field by offering tailorable structures and active site tunability, enabling efficient and selective electrocatalytic processes.

Atomically thin mica flakes and their application as ultrathin insulating substrates for graphene [PDF]
We show that it is possible to deposit, by mechanical exfoliation on SiO2/Si wafers, atomically thin mica flakes down to a single monolayer thickness.

The study explores structural and magnetic properties of one of the most recent topological quantum materials (MnBi2Te4). The Mn‐poor structure leads to stacking faults (quintuple layer ‐ QL of Bi2Te3 formation instead of a septuple layer ‐ SL of MnBi2Te4), resulting in a coexistence between weak antiferromagnetism and ferromagnetism.

Dispersion corrections in graphenic systems: a simple and effective model of binding [PDF]
We combine high-level theoretical and \emph{ab initio} understanding of graphite to develop a simple, parametrised force-field model of interlayer binding in graphite, including the difficult non-pairwise-additive coupled-fluctuation dispersion ...
