Personalized Zebrafish Models for Fusion‐Positive Pediatric Sarcomas
ABSTRACT Clinical sequencing efforts have revolutionized our approaches to categorizing pediatric cancers in real time. This has dramatically improved our ability to profile pediatric tumors, identify actionable vulnerabilities, and influence clinical care.

Solvability and construction of solutions of integral equations
A class of integral equations with respect to one variable function as well as to multivariable function that are solvable for any right hand side of an equation has been singled out. A necessary and sufficient condition for existence of a solution has

The Role of “Adult‐Onset” Cancer Predisposition Genes in Pediatric Cancer: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Current literature estimates that 10% of pediatric cancers are caused by pathogenic or likely pathogenic (P/LP) germline variants in cancer predisposition genes (CPGs). Variants in CPGs thought to increase cancer risk exclusively during adulthood are referred to as “adult‐onset” CPGs (aoCPGs).

Existence of a ground-state solution for a quasilinear Schrödinger system
In this paper, we consider the following quasilinear Schrödinger system.−Δu+u+k2Δ|u|2u=2αα+β|u|α−2u|v|β,x∈RN,−Δv+v+k2Δ|v|2v=2βα+β|u|α|v|β−2v,x∈RN,where k < 0 is a real constant, α > 1, β > 1, and α + β < 2*.

Existence of Solutions for a Baby-Skyrme Model [PDF]
The existence of the energy-minimizing solutions for a baby-Skyrme model on the sphere is proved using variational method. Some properties of the solutions are also established.

Health Literacy, Self‐Efficacy and Knowledge of Sickle Cell Disease Among Caregivers
ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a hereditary blood disorder in which abnormal haemoglobin leads to severe anaemia, painful crises and organ failure. Caregivers’ health literacy (HL) – their ability to assess, understand and apply information, and interact with healthcare professionals – is crucial for managing children with SCD, yet ...

Existence of Variational Solutions in Noncylindrical Domains [PDF]
The very interesting paper under review deals with boundary value problems for parabolic systems in noncylindrical bounded domains \(E=\bigcup_{t\in[0,T)}E^t\times\{t\}\subset\mathbb{R}^n\times[0,T)\) with \(n\geq2\) and \(T>0.\) Precisely, given a Carathéodory integrand \(f:\;\Omega\times \mathbb{R}^N\times \mathbb{R}^{nN}\) that is convex and ...

ABSTRACT Background Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer in Mexico, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most frequent subtype. Exposure to high concentrations of benzene has been associated with ALL incidence, particularly in urban areas. This study evaluated the relationship between distance to benzene emission sources and the number

Existence of Solutions to the Diffusive VSC Model [PDF]
We prove existence of classical solutions to the so-called diffusive vesicle supply center (VSC) model describing the growth of fungal hyphae. It is supposed in this model that the local expansion of the cell wall is caused by a flux of vesicles into the wall and that the cell wall particles move orthogonally to the cell surface.
