The adapted solution and comparison theorem for backward stochastic differential equations with Poisson jumps and applications

open access: yes, 2008
This paper deals with a class of backward stochastic differential equations with Poisson jumps and with random terminal times. We prove the existence and uniqueness result of adapted solution for such a BSDE under the assumption of non-Lipschitzian ...

Existence and uniqueness of measure solutions for a system of continuity equations with non-local flow [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we prove existence and uniqueness of measure solutions for the Cauchy problem associated to the (vectorial) continuity equation with a non-local ow.

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Existence and uniqueness theorem for a solution of fuzzy differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1999
By using the method of successive approximation, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the fuzzy differential equation x′(t)=f(t,x(t)),x(t0)=x0. We also consider an ϵ-approximate solution of the above fuzzy differential equation.

Existence and persistence of positive solution for a stochastic turbidostat model

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
A novel stochastic turbidostat model is investigated in this paper. The stochasticity in the model comes from the maximal growth rate influenced by white noise.

Effectiveness of a Novel Low‐Density Lipoprotein Apheresis Device Rheocarna in Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis With Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia: A Single‐Center Retrospective Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) is a severe form of lower‐extremity artery disease characterized by distal lesions and microcirculatory impairment, limiting revascularization efficacy. Rheocarna is a direct hemoperfusion low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) adsorption device with potential rheological and anti‐inflammatory ...

Existence of almost periodic solution for SICNN with a neutral delay

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2011
In this paper, a kind of shunting inhibitory cellular neural network with a neutral delay was considered. By using the Banach fixed point theorem, we established a result about the existence and uniqueness of the almost periodic solution for the shunting

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
