The K2 and TESS Synergy. II. Revisiting 26 Systems in the TESS Primary Mission

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal, 2023
The legacy of NASA’s K2 mission has provided hundreds of transiting exoplanets that can be revisited by new and future facilities for further characterization, with a particular focus on studying the atmospheres of these systems. However, the majority of

Catalog of New K2 Exoplanet Candidates from Citizen Scientists [PDF]

open access: yesResearch Notes of the AAS, 2019
We provide 28 new planet candidates that have been vetted by citizen scientists and expert astronomers. This catalog contains 9 likely rocky candidates ($R_{pl} < 2.0R_\oplus$) and 19 gaseous candidates ($R_{pl} > 2.0R_\oplus$). Within this list we find one multi-planet system (EPIC 246042088).

Catalog for the ESPRESSO blind radial velocity exoplanet survey [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics, 2019
Aims. One of the main scientific drivers for ESPRESSO, Échelle SPectrograph, is the detection and characterization of Earth-class exoplanets. With this goal in mind, the ESPRESSO guaranteed time observations (GTO) Catalog identifies the best target stars for a blind search for the radial velocity (RV) signals caused by Earth-class exoplanets. Methods ...

The Demographics of Terrestrial Planets in the Venus Zone

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal, 2023
Understanding the physical characteristics of Venus, including its atmosphere, interior, and its evolutionary pathway with respect to Earth, remains a vital component for terrestrial planet evolution models and the emergence and/or decline of planetary ...

Planetary Candidates Observed by Kepler VI: Planet Sample from Q1-Q16 (47 Months) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
\We present the sixth catalog of Kepler candidate planets based on nearly 4 years of high precision photometry. This catalog builds on the legacy of previous catalogs released by the Kepler project and includes 1493 new Kepler Objects of Interest (KOIs ...

Gaia search for stellar companions of TESS Objects of Interest IV

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, Volume 344, Issue 7, September 2023., 2023
We present the latest results of our ongoing multiplicity study of (Community) TESS Objects of Interest, using astrometric and photometric data from the ESA‐Gaia mission to detect stellar companions of these stars and characterize their properties. A total of 134 binary, 6 hierarchical triple, and two quadruple star systems are identified among 1106 ...

Multiplicity Boost of Transit Signal Classifiers: Validation of 69 New Exoplanets using the Multiplicity Boost of ExoMiner

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal, 2023
Most existing exoplanets are discovered using validation techniques rather than being confirmed by complementary observations. These techniques generate a score that is typically the probability of the transit signal being an exoplanet ( y ( x ...

The TESS Triple-9 Catalog II: a new set of 999 uniformly vetted exoplanet candidates

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2023
ABSTRACT The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission is providing the scientific community with millions of light curves of stars spread across the whole sky. Since 2018, the telescope has detected thousands of planet candidates that need to be meticulously scrutinized before being considered amenable targets for follow-up ...
